About National Education Policy (NEP) 2020:

It emphasizes foundational literacy and numeracy, experiential learning, critical thinking, and the integration of vocational education from an early stage. The policy promotes mother tongue or regional language as a medium of instruction until at least Grade 5 and supports the use of technology in education. NEP 2020 aims to create engaged, productive, and contributing citizens by fostering creativity, ethics, and a lifelong love for learning.

Brief About National Teachers’ Science Conference (NTSC) 2025

The National Teachers’ Science Conference (NTSC) 2025 is a pioneering and prestigious national platform aimed at celebrating and empowering educators, who are shaping the future of science education and innovation. Scheduled from 05 to 08 November 2025 at N H Goel World School, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, this inaugural edition of NTSC aligns closely with the visionary objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020—particularly its focus on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and the integration of indigenous knowledge systems into mainstream education.

NTSC 2025 will convene teachers, academic leaders, researchers, scientists, and policymakers from across the country to share innovative practices, pedagogical strategies, and classroom research. It will serve as a dynamic forum to exchange knowledge, showcase grassroots innovations, and foster collaboration in science education.

The conference will feature paper presentations (oral, poster & demonstration), interactive workshops, thematic discussions, and exhibitions—all designed to highlight and celebrate teacher-led excellence and build a community committed to equitable, inquiry-driven science learning.

Inquiry-Based & Experiential Learning

This sub-theme focuses on approaches that encourage students to explore, ask questions, experiment, and construct knowledge through real-life experiences. Teachers are invited to share methods that promote hands-on learning, scientific inquiry, fieldwork, and problem-solving.

Educators are invited to present
  • Inquiry-led lesson plans.
  • Case studies promoting experiential learning.
  • Classroom activities that build critical thinking.

This approach positions students as active learners, making science engaging, relevant, and application oriented.

Integrating Local Knowledge and Multilingualism in class room Teaching

Aligned with NEP 2020, this theme emphasizes incorporating indigenous knowledge systems, traditional wisdom, and local resources into science teaching. It also encourages the use of multilingual approaches to make learning more inclusive and culturally relevant.

Participants can share

  • Lessons incorporating traditional practices or local examples.
  • Use of mother tongue or bilingual strategies in teaching science.

Use of ICT and Digital Tools in Education

Educators are invited to present

  • Innovative models of skill-based education
  • Case studies showcasing school-industry partnerships
  • Classroom or workshop activities that build employability and entrepreneurship
  • Success stories of vocational training transforming student outcomes

This approach empowers learners with job-ready skills, fosters self-reliance, and bridges the gap between education and employment opportunities.

Language of Presentation

Participants are welcome to present their papers in either Hindi or English, ensuring wider inclusivity and effective communication across diverse audiences.

Age Group

There is no age restriction for participation- Individuals of all age groups are encouraged to contribute and share their insights.

Mode of Presentation

Participants can choose to present in either of the following formats: Individual or Institutional.

Individual Presentations: Participants may opt for only one of the following modes:
  • Oral Presentation:Present your research or innovative ideas verbally. The presentation must be within 7 minutes.
  • Poster Presentation:Display up to four posters to visually communicate your study, findings, or practices.
  • Demonstration:Showcase your teaching aids, models, or experiments. A dedicated stall will be provided for your demonstration

Institutional Presentations: Institutions can participate in the following formats:

  • Demonstration

This structure allows both individuals and institutions to share their work effectively, encouraging creativity, innovation, and hands-on engagement.

Registration Guidelines

Registration will be accepted through online mode only: https://nostc.in/

Individual Participants
  • Registration & Submission of Abstract: Interested individuals must register along with an extended abstract (minimum 500 and maximum 600 words) by 25th August 2025.Abstract must contain the background, the methodology, and the conclusions that highlight its relevance and potential impact.
  • Registration Fee: ₹500 per participant – for registrations submitted on or before 25th August 2025
  • ₹1500 per participant – for late registrations submitted from 26th August to 5th September 2025
  • Selection & Invitation: Participants will be selected based on the quality and relevance of their extended abstracts. Only selected individuals will be invited to present their work at the event.
  • Support for Selected Participants: The organizers will provide travel allowance (TA), lodging, and boarding for all selected presenters.
  • Certification: All registered participants will receive a Participation Certificate
  • Selected presenters will be awarded a Selection Certificate recognizing their contribution
  • This process ensures that quality contributions are highlighted while providing recognition and support to deserving participants.

    Institutional Participation
    • Registration & Submission: Institutions must register along with an extended abstract by 25th August 2025 to confirm participation.
    • Registration Fee: ₹5000 per Institution – for registrations submitted on or before 25th August 2025
    • ₹7500 per Institution – for late registrations submitted from 26th August to 5th September 2025
    • Representation & Support:Each institution can nominate a maximum of two representatives, who will be provided with lodging and boarding by the organizers.
    • Travel expenses (TA) will need to be borne by the respective institution.
    • Additional Participants: For any accompanying or extra person, a registration fee of ₹4000 per person will be applicable. Lodging and boarding for such participants will be arranged accordingly.
    • This format encourages institutional involvement while ensuring structured participation and adequate support for representatives.
